The Head Lifeguard's primary responsibility is the supervision of pool staff, patrons, and the entire pool facility in compliance with the local board of health regulations. The person in this position is responsible for guarding the pool, ensuring the safety of all patrons, enforcing the pool rules, maintaining cleanliness and sanitary conditions around the pool facility, and implementing the emergency protocols as needed.
