Reporting to the Deputy Chief for Infrastructure & Design, the Capital Projects Design Director will lead a team to implement the city’s transportation and mobility policies, coordinate the design and construction of capital projects that encourage safe walking, biking, and access to transit, work with neighborhood and advocacy groups, and coordinate with city and state agencies. Projects will implement and support ongoing initiatives such as the citywide plan Go Boston 2030 and Safety Surge.
