THIS IS A TEMPORARY GRANT-FUNDED POSITION.   The Boston Safe and Successful Youth Initiative (SSYI) is a multidisciplinary, comprehensive service delivery strategy to enhance the quality of life of youth who are the most at risk of being victims or perpetrators of gun violence. SSYI uses a well-developed data analysis system based on criminal history, network analysis, and intelligence to look for individuals who present the greatest risk for gun violence and/or victimization. 

Incumbents are responsible for providing advocacy services to older adults, which may include providing information and referral, processing benefit applications, conducting home visits, preparing reports, selling taxi coupons, monitoring follow-ups, and performing related duties.
