Every year, millions of people interact with the City of Boston to do everything from finding information on City services to paying a parking ticket or starting a business. The Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) provides and maintains mission-critical technologies for the City’s more than 18,000 employees and the hundreds of thousands of constituents they serve.
As a Product Manager, you’ll lead the development of a cross-functional practice to research and deliver user-centered Document Management products using Agile methodologies and modern software development practices while building capacity for product innovation in government. You’ll be a champion for user needs, with a goal of improving end-to-end user experiences through improvements in technology, business processes, and streamlined systems. You’ll work closely with City department's and must have strong communication and relationship management skills.
The Infrastructure Document Management Product Manager role reports to the Deputy Chief Technology Officer in the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT). This position is part of the Infrastructure Team, which includes Service Desk, Network, Cloud, DevOps, 24x7 Data Center Operations, and Telecom. These teams support the City and all of DoIT.
