- At least three (3) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in office administration or management, accounting, and financial reporting with a concentration in basic accounting and record keeping.
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or business management from an accredited college or university is preferred and may be substituted for two (2) years experience.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated and proven organizational skills for compliance and reporting purposes.
- A broad knowledge of procurement, supplier management, and contract/grant administration is required.
- Experience with MGL chapter 30B procurement laws preferred.
- Experience working with federal and state funding preferred.
- Familiarity with local government operations is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; to collect and analyze financial data; to prepare reports with findings and recommendations
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, vendors, employees in other departments, and external agencies.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite is required. Knowledge of software such as BAIS/PeopleSoft applications is preferred.
- Experience in using the cashiering system INOVAH or similar system.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
