Brief Job Description:
In August 2024, the City of Boston launched its Office of Climate Resilience to lead City’s all-of-government approach to the impact climate change will have on Boston and its residents. With a roadmap outlined in the City’s Climate Ready Boston plans, this Office focuses on the risks of rising sea levels, increased precipitation, and more frequent and intense heat-waves.
The Office of Climate Resilience accelerates and coordinates the citywide implementation of resilience measures; the Project Manager is central to this work. They support the implementation of critical projects; they help facilitate internal coordination and external communication; and, they perform analysis that shapes the direction of this essential work.
