The City of Boston’s Office of Green Infrastructure (OGI) is seeking a Special Projects Manager. The OGI is located within the City of Boston Office of Streets and is tasked with the coordination, implementation, and management of green infrastructure (GI) throughout the City. The Office performs various activities including planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, monitoring, and repair of City GI. The OGI also administers the City’s GI Working Group, GI Job Program, and other GI-related cross-departmental initiatives.
The Special Projects Manager will guide the OGI’s stormwater initiatives and the City’s stormwater compliance work. Under the direction of the Director, the Special Projects Manager is responsible for planning and directing administrative and operational activities related to the City’s stormwater management efforts. The successful incumbent will organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the Director to facilitate efficient decision-making. They will also provide oversight and guidance to special projects, as requested.
