Under management from the Deputy Director of the Office of Youth Employment and Opportunity (YEO), the Grants, Budget, and Development Manager is responsible for managing all grant related initiatives, monitoring the department budget, overseeing fiscal and stewardship responsibilities and creating opportunities for funding and development to support programs, services and activities.
The Grants, Budget, and Development Manager is an integral part of the YEO team, who will primarily support the management of local, state and federal grants, expand the department's ability to provide grant funding to local 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations for youth and young adult jobs and workforce readiness, civic engagement, and partnerships - and support the department in improving internal financial governance by evaluating and optimizing the current budget and youth funds.
The position is designed for a highly detailed and process thinker with strong analytical, accounting, communication, organizational and research skills, and the ability for building relationships, experience overseeing grant funding, budget management and a commitment to youth, young adults, workforce development, and civic engagement.
