Overview:

The BERDO Assistant will support activities related to the Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO), as well as other building decarbonization policies and programs of the Environment Department. BERDO requires buildings greater than 20,000 square feet or 15 units to report their annual energy usage to the City and to meet declining emissions standards, achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. The City makes the resulting metrics on energy and greenhouse emissions publicly available. The BERDO Assistant will work to support activities related to the BERDO ordinance and other building decarbonization policies and programs of the Environment Department.
