Brief Job Description (essential functions of the job):
Under the supervision of the Director of the Boston Regional Intelligence Center (BRIC), the Crime & Intelligence Analyst collects, reviews, collates, analyzes, prepares and disseminates data and information on incoming investigative requests from field personnel, other public safety organizations, or those from other analysts.
Willing to work overtime, weekend and holiday shifts to support operational demands.
Work Schedule:
The BRIC is staffed on a Day as well as a First-Half shift. The shifts are broken down as follows: Sunday - Thursday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Tuesday - Saturday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM, and Thursday - Monday from 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM. The BRIC also supports police operations outside of the normal work schedule; therefore, the Crime & Intelligence Analyst may be required to work hours in addition to the regular work schedule to include weekends, over-night hours and Holidays.
CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK IS REQUIRED.
A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST IS REQUIRED.
BOSTON RESIDENCY REQUIRED.
