- Applicants must have at least three (3) years of full time or equivalent part-time, technical or professional experience in work of which the major duties included the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred and may be substituted for two (2) years’ experience.
- Demonstrated and proven organizational skills for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Must have broad knowledge of government procurement.
- Past experience with Chapter 30B and Chapter 149 are preferred.
- Good working knowledge of computers including; Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft Financials, Google Suite and all associated web based technology.
- Proven communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proven ability to assume responsibility and carry out assignments independently.
- A basic knowledge of public safety and governmental operations is preferred.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
