- Minimum three (3) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in volunteer program management, public relations, customer service, or related field. Experience working in programs for older persons preferred. Grant writing experience preferred.
- Associate’s degree may count for up to one (1) year of required experience, bachelor’s degree may count for up to two (2) years of required experience.
- Ability to coordinate all aspects of a program including: logistics, correspondence, recruitment, and marketing.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including public speaking.
- Ability to convey information effectively and promote programs.
- Effective leadership and team building skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills both in person and by phone.

- Experience in typical office software systems (Microsoft Office, and Google Suite) preferred.
- Experience with Canva preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, CaboVerdean Creole, Vietnamese, Cantonse, or Mandarin) preferred .
- Must have and maintain a current MA Driver’s License.
- Complies with City of Boston policies and procedures protecting client information and the confidentiality of the information.
