Overview:

Responsible for assisting the teacher in the maintenance of the childcare program.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for taking initiative, being flexible, and working toward the growth and development of the children in the program.
  • Assist the teacher with circle time and story time, as well as during classroom projects/activities.
  • Assist the children with their toileting needs and assist in helping them during mealtime.
  • Perform related work as required.

Minimum Entrance Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must work at all times under the direct supervision of a certified teacher.
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural settings.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
