Education, Experience, & Skills Required:
- Minimum of three (3) years of work in case management or social services. Master’s degree in Social Work or related field can be substituted for three (3) years of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or can be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
- Two (2) years experience working in local social services agencies or public benefits access preferred.
- Ability to establish and foster relationships with multiple cross-sector partners and to work as a part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent organizational skills; proven competence with collection and management of documentation and paperwork.
- Experience with database management and recording/tracking of data.
- Ability to establish and foster relationships with cross-sector partners and to work as a part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility, professional demeanor, and ability to respond calmly and positively to rapidly changing situations.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and cross-cultural issues.
- Ability to self-direct and assume full ownership over responsibilities, present strong problem-solving processes.
- Demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm for and ability to convey the program mission to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Commit to the advancement of urban youth, including staff development.
- Familiarity with Boston neighborhoods is preferred.
- Ability to speak additional languages, such as Spanish or Haitian Creole, would be preferred.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- A valid Driver’s License is preferred.
