- At least (1) one year of experience in real estate appraisal, preferred.
- Have an understanding of appraisal methodology and its relation to data collection procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and with the public preferred.
- Demonstrated mathematical and analytic ability preferred.
- Knowledge of personal computers, operating systems, Windows environment and application software preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software preferred.
- Ability in database and in specialized software applicable in assessing work preferred.
- Written communication skill, including ability to present data and to prepare communications and reports, preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational skill, initiative and flexibility preferred.
- Ability to work in all Boston neighborhoods required.
- Safe driving record. Must have and maintain a current Massachusetts driver's license.
- Must have the ability to exercise good judgment and must be able to focus on detail as required by the job.
Boston Residency Required.
