Brief Job Description (essential functions of the job):
The Boston Transportation Department (BTD) is seeking a highly motivated Vision Zero Planner to work on projects that will realize the City’s vision to create streets and public spaces that are vibrant, multi-modal, resilient, and safe.
Reporting to the Commissioner or designee, the planner’s particular focus will be on rapid, quick build interventions to lower the number of fatal and serious crashes on Boston’s roadways and increase the number of people bicycling and walking in the City.
Required to work any and all emergencies as directed by the Commissioner or designee.

Union/Salary Plan/Grade: SENA/MM1-6
Hours per week: 35
