The Public Facilities Department provides professional project management services for planning, design and construction projects at City-owned buildings throughout Boston. We work in conjunction with, and on behalf of user agencies, by managing studies, renovation and new construction projects at buildings where City services are delivered. PFD manages a range of design and construction projects valued between $1M - $125M and planning projects ranging in value between $50k - $1M. PFD typically handles an overall caseload between 80-100 projects valued at more than $500M annually.

Brief Job Description (essential functions of the job):
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Operations, the Design & Construction Schedule Manager (P6) will be responsible for the management and oversight of the department's construction and design schedules including larger scale and highly technical projects and participate in schedule claims analysis for conformance to project specification.
BOSTON RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED.
