Brief Job Description (essential functions of the position):
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Trades, plans and assigns work of the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment and park and playground furniture such as benches, play equipment, refuse barrels, fencing, signage as well as vehicle equipment such as tool racks, side boards, etc.
Applicant must have three (3) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, paid experience as a maintenance mechanic, one (1) of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
Position is open to employees of the Parks and Recreation Department in accordance with the provisions of Mass. Gen. Laws Chapter 31.
Must have and maintain a current valid Massachusetts Drivers License.
Pre-employment drug test required.
Employment Site: Working out of the Franklin Park Service Yard.
