Brief job description (essential function of the job):
Under the general supervision of an administrative employee of a higher grade, manages accounts payable processes for the City.
Assists in the planning and developing of citywide training and employee development for accounts payable and procurement functions.
Organizes and participates in testing and implementing account payable and procurement system modifications and upgrades.
A minimum of three (3) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in the field of office or business administration or accounting.
Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel strongly preferred.
Experience with PeopleSoft, Inc. applications preferred.
