Brief Job Description (essential functions of the job):
Under the supervision of the Office of Small Business Development Director, performs outreach to small, local, minority and women-owned businesses to assist with business support and contracting opportunities with the City.
Applicants must have at least four (4) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional or technical experience in the field of office or business administration in work where the major duties included one of the following functions; market analysis, procedural analysis, records management or financial administration, or any equivalent combination of experience and educational substitutions; must have strong communication and organizational skills; must have computer knowledge of Microsoft Software; ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
A bachelor's degree is preferred and may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience.
