Brief Job Description (essential functions of the job):
Under the direction of a Unit Supervisor, performs investigative, customer service, fleet processing, cashiering and administrative work of a moderate difficulty in the investigating, processing, and audit of claims, inquiries and transactions relating to parking and other motor vehicle violations, abandoned vehicles, resident permits and related activities.
Required to work any emergency as directed by the Commissioner of Transportation.
Three (3) years of varied clerical and investigative work of more than the average difficulty involving the use of computer systems. An associate's degree in business administration or related field may be substituted for one (1) years of the required experience.
Skill in the use and application of computer terminals/devices relative to the entry and access of information is preferred.
Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the position.
BOSTON RESIDENCY REQUIRED.
