    Brief Job Description (essential functions of the job):

     

    Under administrative direction of the head of the Fleet Maintenance Division or designee, consults with supervisors, management and operational personnel to collect, analyze and interpret performance data on departmental programs and services in conformance with established evaluation criteria.

    Responsibilities:

     

     

    • Maintains and analyzes the fleet maintenance tracking system and assists in the development of procedures and guidelines to promote efficiency and improved performance.
    • Monitors the fleet’s warranty billing processes and procedures to ensure timely and efficient reimbursement.
    • Monitors and analyzes various budgets and departmental expenditures to ensure that sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
    • Assists in the preparation of departmental operational and capital budget requests.
    • May assist in special projects as required.
    • Performs related work as required.

    Minimum Entrance Qualifications:

      

    • At least (3) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in Office Administration including financial analysis, budgeting, and or accounting is required.
    • A bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience.
    • Demonstrated financial analysis skills in a business setting using software packages (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access) or other appropriate technology. 
    • Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work as a part of a team.
    • Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
