BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION (essential functions of the job):
Reporting to the unit manager or employee of higher grade, collects and interprets data relating to commercial and residential real estate and personal property valuation.
Draws property sketches to scale and makes calculations.
Conducts interviews with property owners, managers, tenants and others to obtain and validate sale conditions and other information.
Provides information to taxpayers and co-workers.
Directs, trains and reviews work of staff of lower grade as required.
Researches abatements, prepares reports, does special projects, maintains and reviews data, handles equipment and supplies, and performs other duties as required.
Boston Residency Required
Safe driving record. Must have and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver's license required.
CORI check required.
